Privacy Policy

Bebopper stores the accounts in your family, the activities you track, the sessions you log, and the goals and rewards you set. That is what makes the numbers appear on everybody's phone. It is not sold, it is not shared with advertisers, and it is not used to build a profile of your child.

When you create an account we store your email address and display name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive whatever that service passes on — usually a name and an email address, and Apple's private relay address if you chose to hide yours.

Inside the app we store the children you add, the activities you track, every session's start and stop time, corrections made to those sessions, your goals, and the rewards and payouts you record. Each person's chosen look and accent colour is stored on their own account.

If you turn on notifications, we store a device token so the app can send them. Turning notifications off removes it.

No location. No contacts. No photos beyond the profile picture your sign-in provider supplies. No advertising identifiers, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Bebopper does not track you across other apps or websites.

Bebopper is a family app, and children use it. A child's account is created by a parent inside their family, and a child can only see and log against their own record. We collect no more from a child's account than from an adult's — a name, a sign-in identity, and the sessions they log.

A parent can rename, correct or delete a child's record at any time, and deleting the family removes it.

Bebopper runs on Google Firebase — Firebase Authentication for sign-in, Cloud Firestore for the family's data, and Cloud Functions for the work that has to happen server-side. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access rules restrict every document to the family it belongs to.

Google processes this data on our behalf as a service provider. Their handling is covered by the Firebase Data Processing Terms.

The people you invite, and nobody else. Parents can see every child in the family and can edit the log. A child sees their own activities, sessions and rewards. There is no public sharing, no leaderboard, and no way for another family to see yours.

Settings › Delete Account removes your account and, if you are the family's owner, the family's data along with it. Deletion is immediate in the app; backups age out on Google's normal retention schedule.

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected or who can see it, the change will be described here with a new date at the top, and — if it is material — inside the app.
